T-Mobile Users: Beware

Check this out - T-Mobile is disallowing access for third party phone applications (like the ones you guys are writing....):

True. But this is only on phones people buy from T-Mobile, so you're still ok for this class if you have a T-Mobile SIM. I just verified that gmail and gmm still work on my v3x. For now...
